He was ordained a priest on August 15, 1994 after completing his basic theological formation in the University of Navarre, Spain. He obtained his Licentiate and Doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome. Presently, he is the parochial vicar of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Tanauan City, the priest-in-charge of the proposed Parish of Nuestra Señora de la Soledad in Darasa, Tanauan City, and the chaplain of the First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities in the same city. He is also a professor of Theology at the St. Francis de Sales Theological Seminary in Lipa City, Batangas.
