Fr. Eugene Salgado Elivera


He was born in Negros Occidental in 1973. He was ordained a priest in 2001 and is incardinated in the Apostolic Vicariate of Puerto Princesa in Palawan. He obtained his Licentiate and Doctorate in Theology (in 2007 and 2010, respectively) from the University of Navarra (Pamplona, Spain). Among his assignments as a priest are: Dean of the Philosophy Department of Seminario de San Jose, Executive Director of Social Action Apostolate, and Parochial Vicar of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral. Currently, he is a professor at the Holy Trinity University and chaplain at the Palawan State University. He is also the priest in-charge of barangays Tagburos and Sta. Lourdes, forming the community to become a parish. He is the incoming rector of Seminario de San Jose.
