The Daughters of St. Paul, Pasay City, in the person of Sr. Consolata Manding, FSP, PhD spearheaded the 2011 NCR Juniors Congress held at RVM Auditorium, N. Domingo St., Quezon City last September 18, 2011. Sr. Consolata was the main speaker for the whole day’s event which underlined Media Literacy Education as the main concern of the, more or less, 200 Sisters participants from different Congregations in MetroManila. Sr. Consolata, highlighted the topic “Culture of Communication” as basic in learning skills and tools in media analysis. The film entitled “Blind Side” was used as material to identify what culture of communication is taking place in every interpersonal encounters including one’s relationship with God. Sr. Consolata obtained her Doctorate Degree in Communication at AIM, Makati, Philippines.
