A five-consecutive Saturdays modular course on the study of the different theories of mass media and the new communication technology and its application in interpreting research and media text analysis. Distance education is offered but students are required to attend class on the first and fifth Saturday. This is one of the sixteen modules offered by PICA in its MA program on Media Literacy Education.
