On June 26, 2010, Sisters Maria Chiara Cabaluna, Rosaria del Rosario, Redenta Fabillon, Fatima Gornis, Giacinta Gornis, Stefanina Roble, Claudia Parco and Paolina Salem celebrated their Golden Jubilee, while Sr. Yolanda Dionisio celebrated her Silver Jubilee of Religious Profession at the Queen of the Apostles Sanctuary, Pasay.
There were 19 priests who concelebrated with His Excellency Bishop Broderick Pabillo, DD, Auxiliary Bishop of Manila at the Eucharisitc celebration which began at 9:00 A.M . Among the concelebrants were Fr. Ruben Areno, Provincial Superior and SSP priests, Fr. James Ferry, Archdiocesan Episcopal Vicar for Religious, priest-relatives of the jublarians and invited priests.
Bishop Pabillo in his homily said that the celebration is a great assurance that the God who sustained the Sisters for 25 and 50 years will always be there because God is faithful till the end.
He said that the celebration is a landmark in their life, one of the stages in the continuing journey in which they have greater confidence and determination to reach the finish line, that is life in Jesus Christ.
Words of thanks was delivered by Sr. Yolanda Dionisio on behalf of the 2 groups and the Golden Jubilarians rendered their thanksgiving song entitled “Thank you Lord.” Agape and fellowship followed with the jubilarians’ families, relatives, friends and guests.
