Daughters of Saint Paul

Mother Let Me Live

On the occasion of the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul, the Daughters of Saint Paul, Iloilo and the Association of Pauline Cooperators (APC), presented a spirit-filled concert, “Mother Let Me Live,” held at Colegio de San Jose Auditorium, last January 25, 2011. The concert presented man’s struggle to go back to God, his journey to conversion and God’s fidelity manifested in ordinary and extraordinary ways. It aims to awaken the people, especially the young, to appreciate the beauty of life, a precious gift of God and the responsibility to protect it.

Sr. Divinia de Claro, pointed out that the performing artists Ms. Nice and Ms. Tata Villaruel encountered the risen Lord like St. Paul and their conversion experience impelled them to share their God-given talents. Many came voluntarily to share their talents to sing, to dance, to design, to voice, to direct and to give color to the show. Most of the participants of the show are working people. They sneaked out from their usual schedule just to avail themselves and shared what they can for the realization of the concert which proclaims the truth of God’s mercy and love.
