Sisters Celebrate Silver Jubilee of Religious Profession

Sisters Irma Rios, Glenda Sarande and Anna Yap celebrated their Silver Jubilee of Religious Profession on July 1, 2012 at the Queen of Apostles Sanctuary, Pasay. The Eucharistic celebration was presided by the Most. Rev. Socrates Villegas, D.D. Bishop of Lingayen-Dagupan Diocese.

With the theme “How infinitely rich he is in grace..” (Eph 2:7), Bishop Villegas pointed out that the event is God’s event for He manisfested His fidelity despite one’s unfaithfulness. The jubilee is meaningful because of God’s assurance of His faithfulness till the end. He invited the jubilarians to be like Mary who pondered in her heart the marvels the Lord has done to her. He asked the jubilarians to give Jesus, only Jesus and always Jesus to the world. Jesus died in shame, alone and forsaken but faithful to the Father’s will. He assured them that beyond the jubilee, there is life everlasting.

Words of appreciation were delivered by Sr. Irma Rios on behalf of the group. As thanksgiving to the Lord, the jubilarians sang “Magnificat.” Sr. Emma Garol who is based in Australia was not able to attend the celebration because she is very sick. The occasion was attended by members of the Pauline Family, priests, religious, families, relatives, friends and benefactors of the Institute.
