On October 21, 2012, the FSP community in Marikina launched the project Biblia sa Bawat Pamilya with a Eucharistic Celebration at the Loyola Residences Cooperative (LRCO). The residents were introduced to the goal of the project which is the intensification of the diffusion of the Word of God in every family particularly during this year of preparation for the 75th year foundation anniversary of the FSP in the Philippines. A home-to home visit was later conducted which will continue on a monthly basis every 3rd and 4th Saturday. Bible Enthronement was highly encouraged in the families visited.
Moreover, the choice of the location for the said project was prompted by the situation of the LRCO community. This is a mixed community of urban and middle class families who migrated from Bicol and Samar. Religiously speaking, the people are deeply rooted in their faith in God as expressed in their faithful attendance in the zone masses held once a month in the area. Also, quite a good number of residents participate in the various activities of the community (e.g. preparation for the zone masses, Bible-sharing with the sisters of Hijas de Hesus, etc.) We pray that this activity will help to make the Word of God come alive in the homes and hearts of every family at LRCO.
