To acknowledge the great contribution of the media practitioners of the Archdiocese of Palo, they were invited to the 49th World Communications Day celebration with the theme given by Pope Francis – Communicating the Family: A Privileged Place of Encounter with the Gift of Love.
The Media Practitioners with Fr. Oliver Mazo, assistant parish priest of Sto. Nino Parish, the Daughters of St. Paul, and the 9:30 AM Mass goers of the parish celebrated with great joy the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord and the World Communications Day. This was followed with a simple party and sharing of thoughts on the message of the Holy Father facilitated by Sr. Gemma Ria Dela Cruz, FSP, secretary of the Archdiocesan Social Communications Commission, Palo, Leyte.
