Six sisters (Sr. Juliet, Sr. Trinidad, Sr. Victorina, Sr. Apollonia, Sr. Rosalie and Sr. Elvira) underwent a 30 day renewal period last August 20 – September 10, 2016 in Lipa and Davao City respectively with Sr. Rosangela Ronda, FSP as their Coordinator.
The objective of this renewal is to take a deeper look at their life and vocational commitment at this specific stage of their journey in order to foster integral Pauline Formation and to continue to strain forward with joy and enthusiasm. Varied activities were carried out in line with this objective, that included “Balik Tanaw” (reminiscing), Talks, and Vocation Promotion.
The first week of their renewal period was spent on sharing of significant events in living their Pauline Vocation. The group described the experience as both painful and liberating. They concluded this activity by visiting Padre Pio Shrine in Sto. Tomas, Batangas for the Healing Mass and for the sacrament of Reconciliation.
The renewalists received inputs from three (3) speakers namely: Sr. Melba Grace Lobaton, FSP (Apostolic Mysticism), Sr. Amelyne Paglinawan, FSP (Strategies for an Effective Vocation Promotion), and Sr. Letty Garcia, DC (Spirituality of Senior Sisters).
They also had a week of Vocation Promotion in Davao City. They are grateful to the Triune God and to all the sisters who accompanied them in their spirit-filled renewal journey. For them, the renewal program is a revelation of God's love and faithfulness. It was a time to look deeper into one's Life Project, to grow in a new and profound relationship with God, to pursue real freedom, and to share and listen to one another. It also brought joy and freedom for each one as a beloved daughter of God.
