Sr. Melba is off to Rome to assume new post

A simple mission-sending rite was incorporated in this morning’s Holy Mass for Sr. Melba who will be leaving tomorrow for Italy to assume her new assignment as part of the International Secretariat for Formation at the General House in Rome. Sr. Melba read her prayer during the rite with emotion. Sr. Melba has worked in the area of formation for many years, as mistress of postulants and Juniors. She has held the post of Juniors’ formator even during the time she was appointed Provincial Councillor for two terms (2015 -2021) and as Provincial Secretary from 2021-2024.
