Sr. Susan Penaflor together with some lay volunteers and lay leaders of the parish of Our Lady of Salvation in Daraga, Albay, visited the parishioners of Barangay San Roque in the morning of November 10, 2012. Some were temporary settlers and others are permanent residents.
In this barangay, even if the people are residing just a few meters away from the parish, many do not go to church. Since it was a Saturday, many of them were busy with household chores, and others were out to attend to other matters.
In the afternoon, Sr. Susan gave the talk about “Biblia para sa Lambang Pamilya” in the parish hall. This was concluded with the Eucharistic Celebration at the parish church at 5:30 PM. The bibles were blessed before they were distributed to those who attended the talk.
