On March 27, 2011, the mission-sending ceremony for Sr. Luz Lopez was integrated in the celebration of the holy eucharist. She was given the mission cross – the sign of salvation for the world, and the Bible – a reminder for everyone that the whole church is missionary and the work of evangelization is a basic duty of the people of God.
Sr. Luz was the former manager of the Paulines Media Center in Cebu, and she will assume the same task in Papua New Guinea. She left with her superior last March 27, 2011. Let us accompany her in our prayers.
