Formands of Pauline Family Celebrates Annual Big Day

The postulants and pre-postulants of the Pauline Family along with their formators gathered together for the annual big day held on February 27-28, 2010. The participants are from the Society of St. Paul, Daughters of St. Paul and Pious Disciples of the Divine Master.

The first Filipino aspirant of the Institute of Jesus the Priest (IGS) Fr. Joey Tuazon, a diocesan priest who is now a postulant also joined the said gathering. The event is organized annually for the formands to be acquainted with each other which is the main objective of the event. In order to realize such objective, there were getting-to-know activities, parlor games and the search for Mr. and Miss Pauline 2010 Postulants and Prepostulants.

F. Gil Alinsangan, SSP, the seminary rector also gave an inspiring talk on the theme: Rekindle the Pauline Priesthood. He challenged everyone to be strongly rooted on the thought and work of the founder and to have the boldness, intelligence and faith in formulating a global project of new evangelization as Pauline Priesthood is relaunched.

The event was concluded with the holy mass presided by Fr. Joey Tuazon, and concelebrating priests Fr. Gil Alinsangan, Fr. Noel Magbanua, Fr. Joel Baguna, Fr. Rene Tañeza and Fr. Eleazar Palisada.
