Last July 1, 2013, the Paulines Lay Mission Partners in Pasay attended a Financial Wellness Seminar given by Ms. Evelyn Olmilla, CPA, RFC.
The main objectives of the said seminar were to:
- know the different financial priorities, and
- develop and start one’s own financial plan.
Ms. Olmilla emphasized, “The strong and young person that you are today is the only person who can help the disabled or financially problematic person that you might be someday.” She enumerated steps to meet one’s own personal goals – know what you want, know what you need, and know where you are now and the options you have.
At the end of the seminar, she shared an inspiring quote: “Believe that you are more than your wealth.”
