This is in response to one of the Priorities of the General Government, which they recommended during their Fraternal Visit to our Province.
The main goal of this batch’s renewal program is to foster integral Pauline formation and to celebrate God’s love and faithfulness. The objective is to revitalize Pauline identity through prayer, inputs, sharing and integration through the following strategies: Listening attentively and participating actively to the input on the Pauline Charism; Conducting parish and school missions, vocation talks, book displays and Launching of our New Music Albums; Producing 3-minuter Vocation Video Clips; and Spending “light moments” together (dancing, story telling, exercising, singing, etc.).
The first week of their renewal was spent on Reflection, Sharing and Integration in FSP Convent, Baguio City. Sr. Elizabeth John Jothee gave an input on the Charism Course.
On the second week of their renewal, they organized Vocation Animation and Parish Mission in Vigan City. They participated in the Diocesan Youth Encounter, visited two private schools (St. Paul College and Divine Word College) for book mission and vocation promotion and launched the Paulines latest CDs (Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life; Night Songs and Gift of Stillness) in St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral.
The renewalists also received input on Wellness given by Sr. Alice Candido, their coordinator. They participated in the Seminar Workshop on Social Media given by Fr. Norman Pena, SSP. During the workshop, the group was asked to produce two short video clips: short vocation promotion video clip using the thoughts of Primo Maestro, and an interview on the significance of the input received or book presentation.
The group ended the first part of their renewal program with a Eucharistic Celebration presided by Fr. Norman Pena, SSP. The second part of their renewal will be scheduled in 2017.
