Novice Judith makes first religious profession

Novice Judith Ma Le, 29, of Shanxi, China made her first religious profession in the presence of Sr. Delia Abian, Provincial Superior of the Daughters of St Paul, during the Eucharistic celebration on January 25, Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul and first day of the Lunar New Year.

Fr. Liam Panganiban, Vice-Delegate of the Order of Clerics Regular Minor (CRM) in Lipa presided the Holy Mass at the Novitiate Chapel. Two Redemptorist Fathers concelebrated the Eucharist.

Among those present to witness the event were the neo-professed’s friends and fellow Daughters of St. Paul including Sr. Bernadetta Kim of East Asian Delegation. The Mass servers were CRM seminarians.

This is the first time the congregation witnessed the first profession of a novice from Mainland China, 21 years after that of Novice Maria He in 1999 in Singapore.

Simple lunch was served after the Eucharistic celebration. – Sr. Anna Yap, FSP
